Today it is May 4th, Star Wars Day, a very important date on the calendar as it celebrates all Star Wars – films, comics, etcetera, and is considered to be a holiday by some fans. Yet it was only in one class at school that this got acknowledged – science – and even then, over half the class had never heard of it!
The phrase May The Fourth Be With You has been used to congratulate presidents in gaining office, and all manner of other important events, and the original sentence – may the FORCE be with you – is extremely famous. The lesser known date is tomorrow, Revenge of the Sith, otherwise known as May the fifth.
So here’s to Star Wars, and to all of you who have had the privilege of enjoying them!
May the Fourth Be With You, everyone.
